PND Engineers Canada Inc. (PND Canada) opened its doors in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 2013 to better serve the needs of the company's northern clients. Its qualified staff of marine, civil, geotechnical, and hydrological engineers have more than 50 years' combined experience with all facets of engineering in Arctic and subarctic regions.
Its officers include the original design engineer of the 54-mile Red Dog Road and have more than a half century of combined experience with similar services throughout Alaska and Northern Russia. With the engineering and design services of PND Canada's officers, the firm is in a position to offer highly specialized engineering solutions to address any challenge facing its clients. Recent project experience includes a temporary jetty to allow seasonal loading and offloading of mining modules in Roberts Bay, Nunavut, as well as numerous feasibility and concept-level winter and summer studies in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories.
