PND has provided civil, geotechnical, and structural engineering services to federal government agencies on a wide variety of projects. Clients have included: the U.S. Navy; U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; U.S. Coast Guard; U.S. Air Force; U.S. Forest Service; and the Bureau of Land Management.
For the U.S. Coast Guard, PND provided services under an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. Services included inspection; assessment and inventory of facilities and structures; design of improvements to utility systems, docks and buildings; and preparation of preliminary designs that will be used as part of design-build packages.
Plans and specifications for federal government projects typically require a higher level of detail than documents created for private industry. PND’s plans and specifications provide documentation that meets the federal procurement code standards.
