PND provides planning and design services in support of recreation facilities such as multipurpose trails, parking facilities, park improvements, boat launch facilities, RV campgrounds, yurt campgrounds, multi-use recreational facilities, and marine-related recreational facilities. We have assisted federal, state, and local agencies with the planning and design of a variety of recreation facilities, as well as providing support with presentations at public meetings, council meetings, and with advisory groups.
From kayak launches to boat launch facilities, PND is a leader in innovative systems that meet light penetration standards by public agencies. Our projects have included campsites with crushed rock access roads, site grading, and drainage, along with campground amenities such as restrooms; picnic shelter buildings; and water, sewer, cable, and electrical RV hook-ups.
We have provided marine-related concepts and designs for recreation facilities that have included waterfront parks; amphitheatres seating 1,500 people; elevated overwater esplanades; restrooms; and the necessary access roads and parking facilities. Many of our waterfront projects have also involved shore protection and boat launch facilities.
