PND is experienced in many aspects of airport design on projects ranging across urban and remote locations in Alaska and beyond. Our cients include municipal, state, and federal agencies as well as private runway owners. PND works with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is well-versed in that agency's Advisory Circulars.
PND provides many services for airport projects, including: studies and field data collection for new runway orientation and siting; master plans and airport layout plans for short- and long-term planning of airport facilities; pavement investigations and pavement design; navigational aids, runway and taxiway lighting, striping, and signage; apron and taxiway design; and Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) during construction, as well as all related civil and structural design needs.
