PND provides a wide variety of professional land surveying services. The company employs a full-time survey staff that includes two Registered Land Surveyors with a combined work experience of 70 years. We also have two survey technicians with combined experience of over 20 years. During the busiest times of the year, PND has as many as five survey crews working. Our surveyors have been involved in numerous federal, state, and local government projects, as well as many projects within the private sector. We have provided large base-mapping projects for big mining companies and oil companies, as well as hydrographic base mapping for the fishing industry and as an aid in developing marinas and harbors for both small boats and large cargo and cruise ships. Over the past 25 years, PND's surveyors have completed design surveys to aid in the development and design of roads, bridges, docks, marinas, subdivisions, schools, airports, and the occasional island used by the oil industry for offshore drilling operations.
Along with the numerous design surveys, our surveyors have completed large U.S. Forest Service boundary surveys; Alaska Tideland Surveys; Alaska State Land Surveys; photogrammetric control surveys; Bureau of Land Management retracement surveys; State of Alaska Department of Transportation/PF construction and design surveys; and Record of Surveys and Subdivision Plats for both the public and private sectors.
