PND provides expert transportation engineering services for roads, bridges, trails, railroads, and airports. Our services include road and bridge design; roadway widening; pavement design; drainage; parking facilities; bridge inspection and repair; track realignment studies; and design of airport facilities such as runways and taxiways.
PND has completed over 1,000 miles of roads, with projects as diverse as rural mining roads and forest service roads to urban collectors and highway systems. As part of our transportation engineering services, we have the in-house capability to perform detailed permitting, public participation, and assessment of right-of-way. Our services also include accommodating steep slopes, fish passage, glacial outburst flooding, riverine flooding environments, and other critical issues.
