PND provides civil design services in a wide variety of environments, from parks and trails to airports; marinas; cruise ship terminals; break bulk and container terminals; commercial and institutional buildings; industrial sites; and oil and gas facilities. Projects have been completed from remote arctic regions to rain forests and in more temperate regions, both in the United States and overseas. Our capabilities include site civil improvements; pavement; urban and rural roads and parking facilities; stormwater and storm drainage; water and sewer utilities; and marine facility design. PND’s civil design services encompass planning, PS&E design, contract administration, inspection, and construction management.
We also provide civil design and inspection for dam and watershed facilities. Our experience includes outburst flooding analysis; dam flooding analysis; spur dikes; dike flood control systems; earthen and concrete dam design and inspection; river diversions; erosion protection, revetment design, scour analysis, low water crossings, and fish habitat improvements.
